Each case requires an initial consultation which costs £120, following which there is no obligation to continue with the treatment.
Because each patient's requirements are different and each prosthetic we produce is completely bespoke, costs vary on a case by case basis.
Your consultation will allow us to assess the approximate level of cost involved in creating your prosthetic and if you decide to continue with the treatment, a plan will be devised which is tailored specifically to meet your needs and is priced accordingly.

If all or part of the cost of your treatment is to be met by your medical insurance, please bring your policy number and authorisation code to your consultation.
Please note, if you decide to go ahead with your treatment immediately and part of the preparation work is done directly after the consultation (for example taking an impression), this work will incur a separate charge in addition to the fixed consultation fee.
Cost Examples
The following costs are for basic guidance only. They represent straightforward, routine cases and are presented only to give prospective patients an idea of the sort of costs involved.
Please remember that the actual price of any treatment can only be accurately given after an initial consultation and complex cases may exceed the stated guidelines.
Prostheses applied with adhesives
In this example, patients are supplied with two 'stick-on' prostheses:
Routine ear prostheses: £1,600 - £1,800 + consultation fee
In this example, patients are supplied with 3 - 4 'stick-on' prostheses:
Routine nipple prostheses: £800 - £900 + consultation fee
Vacuum retained prostheses
In this example, patients are supplied with two vacuum retained prostheses:
Routine single finger prostheses: £1,500 - £1,700 + consultation fee
Implant prostheses
Unfortunately it is impossible to give any guidelines in these cases as they are inherently too diverse. The price quoted for an implant of any nature will include one prostheses with any additional identical pieces you require at the time or in the future, made for you at a reduced rate.

Payment Plans
It is always our intention to make our service as accessible as possible, which includes offering patients assistance with meeting costs. In cases where the cost of the treatment itself over and above the £120 consultation fee exceeds £2,500, we are pleased to be able to offer a payment plan facility at cost price.
Each plan is individually devised to stagger payments throughout the treatment at no extra cost, which allows you to spread your expenditure as well as approve each stage of the process before moving onto the next part of the plan.
Please contact us for further details.
Primary Care Trusts
Primary Care Trusts (PCT's) of which there are many throughout the country, can often provide funding for prosthetic rehabilitation. This funding is secured via an application to the PCT in the same area as your GP.
The application process involves outlining why you feel prosthetic rehabilitation is necessary for you and can often be assisted by a letter of support from your GP or referring Consultant.
Please do contact us if you require information from Millennium Medical Aesthetics in order to make a funding application.
